National Geographic has concluded its investigation.

Neil deGrasse Tyson will return to his hosting slots on Cosmos and StarTalk. According to Variety, though they were unwilling to detail or even share their findings, National Geographic's investigation into allegations of sexual abuse against the pop scientist has come to a close. Both shows will now move forward with new seasons this year.

NatGeo and Fox initially delayed the remaining 13 episodes of the current StarTalk  season (after canceling it outright earlier this year) and the upcoming third season of Cosmos to launch the investigation when four women -- three former colleagues and a classmate -- accused deGrasse Tyson of sexual misconduct. The investigation derailed more than his radio and television programs. Initially, a companion script to Cosmos: Possible Worlds was to be published alongside the season premiere on March 3rd, but both print and small screen versions remain without a date.

When allegations went public in late November, deGrasse Tyson posted an extensive statement on Facebook, in which he detailed his account of the four incidents, denied any abuse and welcomed an investigation, pledging his full cooperation.
