The actress catches an upgrade in the MCU's next phase.

While you may still be processing the news of Mahershala Ali taking over Wesley Snipes' post in Blade, Marvel didn't stop there with its Comic-Con 2019 panel.

In detailing its full slate of upcoming big and small screen titles (hold tight for more on that front,) the comic book colossus announced that a fourth installment of the Thor franchise, Love and Thunder, would arrive in 2021. But a new hand will grip the hammer. The hand will be that of Natalie Portman's Jane Foster, who was absent from Ragnorok, but played a key role in this year's Avengers finale (which recently surpassed Avatar as the highest-grossing film of all-time.)

Thor: Love and Thunder was one of the few titles left without a premiere date at Marvel's big reveal. But that can't be too far down the line at this point.
