One month after settling a lawsuit with Netflix, Mo'Nique announced two forthcoming projects with the platform, including a stand-up special.

Netflix is back in good graces with Mo'Nique. On Tuesday, the actress and comedian posted a video announcing that her and the streaming platform have partnered to release two forthcoming projects.

“Can y’all believe this shit? I done came home to Netflix,” she said in the clip via Strong Black Lead. “I’m so excited to share that I’ll be shooting my first Netflix comedy special.”

The Oscar-winning actress went on to spill that she's reunited with director Lee Daniels for forthcoming Netflix film titled Deliverance. In April, the two ended their 13-year feud after the comedian said Daniels had her "blackballed" from Hollywood after she won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Mary in 2009 film Precious.

“You won’t want to miss either of them, so stay tuned,” she said. “And thank y’all, my sweet babies. I love us, for real.”

According to Variety, Deliverance will star singer and actress Andra Day as “a mother who fights for her life, her faith, and the souls of her children after discovering their new home is haunted by a demonic presence." Also in the film are Aunjanue Ellis, Glenn Close, Caleb McLaughlin, Tasha Smith, Omar Epps, Demi Singleton, Miss Lawrence, and Anthony B. Jenkins.

In 2019, the entertainer, whose real name is Monique Hicks, called for a boycott of Netflix after she was offered $500,000 to do a comedy special. Noting racial and gender bias in comparison to fellow comedians like Amy Schumer, Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock, last month, Netflix settled with Hicks, but terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
