The Eternals hits theaters on November 6th.

Still months out from its big-screen debut, Marvel's line-up of superheroes for The Eternals is shaping up to be its most diverse yet.

The cast is slated to feature the MCU's first South Asian caper with Kumail Nanjiani leading the group as Kingo. And according to a recent interview with actor Haaz Sleiman, Brian Tyree Henry will portray the MCU's first openly gay character as Phastos.

Sleimann spoke with New Now Nextabout being cast as the love interest for Henry's Phastos, revealing the couple will be married and share a child in the film. He also notes they will share an on-camera kiss, which would be another first for the LGBT community in the MCU. "It's a beautiful, very moving kiss," Sleimann tells NNN. He adds, "For me, it's very important to show how loving and beautiful a queer family can be."

Thus far, there have only been teasers for the film. But with Black Widow slated for a May arrival, there's a good chance we'll be getting a trailer by then, if not sooner. Hold tight for the drop in the weeks ahead.
