The sequel to the Oscar-winning animated picture is set for release on April 8, 2022.
Miles Morales is swinging back into theaters. Marvel Entertainment officially announced a sequel for the fan-favorite Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Friday (November 1st) afternoon.
Shameik Moore, who plays Raekwon in Hulu’s Wu-Tang: An American Saga, will voice Morales once again. Mahershala Ali and Brian Tyree Henry appeared alongside Moore in the original.

In addition to the Oscar, the original won Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice Awards for Best Animated Feature Film. Marvel did not announce a name for the project but has set the release date for April 8, 2022.
