Lil Dicky's 'Dave' Surpasses 'Atlanta' to Become All-Time Highest-Rated Show on FX

The show averaged over 5 million viewers per episode.

Pennsylvania rapper Lil Dicky just wrapped up the first season of his FX show Dave. From the looks of a Deadline report, the "Save That Money" MC has plenty more to come.

The report reveals that Dave has officially earned the title of FX Networks' most-watched comedy series. The show's 5.32 million viewers per episode just eclipsed Donald Glover's Atlanta. Atlanta reeled in 5.2 million viewers in its first season. The ten-episode season of Dave is available for streaming on FX on Hulu.

FX Entertainment's president of Original Programming, Nick Grad spoke about the accomplishment. "Co-creators Dave Burd (Lil Dicky) and Jeff Schaffer have delivered one of television's best comedy series," Grad said, "while becoming FX's most-watched comedy ever."

"That is an extraordinary achievement for Dave, the cast, and crew as they teamed to make a memorable and brilliant season of television."

The show is a fictional depiction of Lil Dicky's own transition from comedy to rap music. The first season features guest appearances from stars like Justin Bieber, Young Thug, Gunna, and Trippie Redd.

"I am just so glad FX was crazy enough to give Dave Burd a TV show," he said. "And smart enough to make it better every step of the way. I'm really looking forward to another season."

Stream both Dave and Atlanta on FX on Hulu.
