Kobe Bryant Responds To “Shut Up And Dribble” Comment During Oscar Win
Kobe Bryant was accepting his “Best Documentary Short” Oscar for Dear Basketball when he sent a direct message to Laura Ingraham.
Moments ago, Kobe Bryant, the former Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard and future NBA Hall of Famer, won an Oscar for “Best Documentary Short” for Dear Basketball.
The film was based on his retirement letter from the NBA and was up against some stiff competition. But as is customary with the five-time NBA champion, Bryant took home his first Oscar during the 90th Academy Awards.
When accepting his award, Kobe decided to send a direct message to Fox News talking head Laura Ingraham, who disrespected LeBron James and Kevin Durant earlier this month by telling them to not speak out against Trump and instead, “Shut up and dribble.”
