While visiting podcast Timcast IRL, Kanye West walked out when host Tim Pool lightly called out the artist's antisemitic statements.

Kanye West's 2024 presidential campaign is getting off to a rough start. On Monday night (November 28), the Donda 2 artist visited right-wing podcast Timcast IRL, leaving after only 20 minutes when host Tim Pool lightly called out his antisemitic rhetoric.

During the interview, Kanye West decried his former partnerships with Adidas and Gap, JPMorgan Chase chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon, Hollywood executives and his former trainer, Harley Pasternak. He also discussed his financial straits, claiming that the IRS froze his accounts because he owes $50 million in taxes.

“I’m talking about literally finding out that they were trying to put me in prison this morning,” Ye said. “But I found out — okay, so they froze, they put a $75 million hold on four of my accounts. And then they said, ‘You owe a lot of taxes.’ Took me like six hours to find out how much ‘a lot’ was. "Well, it was around $50 million.”

After saying that he is “obviously not the most financially literate person on the planet," West added that he's asked "different CFOS" who were tied to his businesses whether he is evading taxes.

“So now I’m having — I get to actually learn how to run a company. I get to learn how to, you know, to count, really,” Ye said. “It’s like I didn’t even know where to put the money.”

West went on to discuss the "true" bloodlines of Black people and back Kyrie Irving, who recently came under fire for posting antisemitic content on his Twitter.

“Rahm Emanuel was right next to Obama, and then Jared Kushner was right next to Trump,” Ye said during his tangent.

After a brief pause, Pool told Ye, "I think they’ve been extremely unfair to you.” When pressed by Ye to clarify who "they" were, Pool replied, "the corporate press." Ye's new friend, white supremacist Nick Fuentes, shot back with “It is them, though, isn’t it?” alluding to Jewish people.

As Pool refused to play into Ye's antisemitic trope, the artist abruptly left the podcast studio, followed by Fuentes and far-right political commentator, Milo Yiannopoulos.

The conversation was held after Ye's recent Mar-a-Lago visit with former US president Donald Trump, where the artist asked Trump to be his presidential running mate. In the Timecast IRL interview, Ye referenced the Mar-a-Lago meeting, revealing that it was originally scheduled for October before Trump postponed it after announcing his third presidential run.
