Us isn't the only thing Jordan Peele is working on.

Jordan Peele has released the first trailer for his YouTube series Weird City, fitting title for the comedic dystopian show.

The almost two-minute long video stars Rosario Dawson, Laverne Cox, LeVar Burton and others as they navigate "the not-too-distant future metropolis of Weird."

A synopsis of the series is as follows:

"In this dystopian setting of our show, the middle class has completely vanished dividing Weird City into two sections: Above the Line (The Haves) and Below the Line (The Have Nots). Presiding over the denizens of the city is the strange and mysterious Dr. Negari, who weaves all of our stories together. Each episode is a topic that pertains to present day life in America and the world: social media addiction, online dating, fitness obsession, etc.. WEIRD CITY captures the unease of modern urban living, in a bizarre and peculiar lens."

Judging by the synopsis, Peele is aiming for a funnier — but still bleak — version of Black Mirror. Both Peele and Charlie Sanders (who previously wrote on Key & Peele for all five seasons) are leading the forthcoming series, which debuts on January 9 on YouTube Premium.

In related news, Peele released the first trailer for his upcoming movie Us, which is soundtracked by Luniz's "I Got 5 On It."
