Titled No Holds Barred, the forthcoming Jada Pinkett Smith memoir will chronicle her marriage to Will Smith and troubled upbringing.

Jada Pinkett Smith is bringing her truth to book form. On Thursday (October 6), the Girls Trip actress announced that her forthcoming "honest and gripping" memoir No Holds Barred will publish in fall 2023 through Dey Street Books, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers.

No Holds Barred will uncover Pinkett Smith's "difficult but riveting" journey through her troubled Baltimore upbringing, close friendship with Tupac Shakur before his death in 1996 and the actress' unconventional marriage to Oscar winner Will Smith. The memoir will also come two years following Will Smith's autobiography Will, co-written by self-help author Mark Manson. The book became an instant bestseller, debuting at No. 3 on USA Today's 150 Best Selling Books, remaining there for 15 weeks.

As detailed in a Dey Street Books press release, the memoir will explore Pinkett Smith's life experiences through motherhood and "the depths of suicidal depression to the heights of personal rediscovery and the celebration of authentic feminine power."
