While walking the red carpet at her 5th annual Diamond Ball benefit, Rihanna took a moment to clear up (at least her part) in the film feed and forum chatter over her being cast as Poison Ivy in the next Batman film.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, the singer revealed she was unaware that she'd fed the rumor mill with a recent Instagram post captioned, "bat mobile, but make it fashion." She goes on to explain that although Uma Thurman's portrayal of the comic book villain in 1997's Batman & Robin has been an "obsession in my life," she hasn't been formally approached by Warner Bros. or DC (yet.) However, should the call come in, the pop star appears ready and willing to don the emerald green jumpsuit. She adds, "if they did, I would love to go in and try out."

Rumors of her casting were sparked a few weeks back when We Got This Covered claimed sources close to the production put Rihanna on the shortlist of stars being eyed for the role in director Matt Reeves upcoming take on the caped crusader. Should she land it, Rihanna would star opposite Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne.

So yeah, someone should probably make that call, huh?
