The Good, Bad, and Just Strange Celebrity Costumes from Halloween 2020

Featuring Halloween highlights from Lizzo, The Weeknd, Quavo, Travis Scott, Saweetie, Jennifer Lopez, and so many more.

COVID be damned, hip-hop and r&b stars still mustered the strength and brazen carelessness needed to go all-out last night for Halloween. That's right, not even a global pandemic and the threat of contracting or spreading the virus could stop the Fright Night spirit for celebrity musicians, athletes and entertainers.

Which means a whole lot of make-up artists and costume designers got the eleventh-hour call to pull off something miraculous. The results ranged from genuinely decent to categorically strange to so bad that social media accounts were deleted to duck a thrashing from fans. Jennifer Lopez slipped into a "Material Girl" mood, Lil Nas X went full Barb, The Weeknd transformed into Professor Sherman Klump, Lizzo swooped in as the fly on Mike Pence's head, Quavo and Saweetie tapped into their inner-outlaw-mutants, and Travis Scott's Instagram page disappeared after he unveiled a relentlessly-ridiculed Caped Crusader. This season's winners, however, are undoubtedly the parents of these young giants with the uncanny Bodega Boys fits.

You can comb through some of the wildest looks from Halloween 2020 below. Here's hoping everyone got tested at some point today.
