Final ‘Black Panther’ Trailer To Air During College Football Playoff National Championship
Seemingly tied in to Kendrick Lamar’s performance at the CFPNC, a new, final Black Panther trailer is kicking off 2018.
The arrival of the King is greatly imminent, as Black Panther will be hitting theaters globally in a month and 13 days. As one of the top two most anticipated movies of the entire year, a lot is riding on Black Panther and its success. To ensure that T’Challa and his kingdom rise to the occasion, Marvel has hinted that a final trailer will air next week during the College Football Playoff National Championship.
Yes, the same College Football Playoff National Championship that Kendrick Lamar is supposed to perform at.
While the game begins at 8:00 p.m. on Jan. 8, there is no final word as to when the trailer will premiere. It will more than likely publicized throughout the game, but we can guarantee that when it runs, you’ll be able to see it here @Okayplayer as soon as it does. With this being the final full length trailer for Black Panther before the film opens in February, this might be the most detailed clip we get aimed at those who are still unfamiliar with the first black comic superhero.
Black Panther will also clock in at a runtime of 2 hours and 15 minutes, which is right on par with other MCU films such as Spider-Man: Homecoming, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Thor: Ragnarok. Albeit not official, it doesn’t matter how long it is, we are going to be there en masse to see this.
Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis, all under the direction of Creed helmer Ryan Coogler.
