Daughter-And-Father Rework Childish Gambino’s “Redbone” To Sell Girl Scout Cookies
Seymore and Charity Harrison went viral after posting a video to Facebook where they performed a Girl Scout rendition of Childish Gambino’s “Redbone”.
I love Girl Scout cookies and haven’t been able to buy or find any in my neighborhood, so this video came at the right time. This adorable, extremely cute-as-a-button daughter-father duo—Charity and Seymore Harrison—recently went viral after posting a video to Facebook where they performed a Girl Scout rendition of Childish Gambino’s “Redbone”.
Watch it and enjoy it below:
“Thin Mints, you wanna order some before it’s too late,” Charity sings in the key of the popular song. “We also got Trefoils and they taste great. Tagalongs will make you feel fine.” The idea came about after the two brainstormed ideas on how to sell more cookies
With over 2.5 million views, it seems like they came up with a winner. Our only hope is that the Girl Scouts were able to re-up for the Harrisons in a timely manner.
“Everyone talks about how cute Charity is and how they like they like the way she’s snapping in the video,” Seymore told his local NBC affiliate. “People like the fact that a father is involved with the Girl Scouts and [helping to] sell the cookies. Girl Scout moms have been reaching out about how much they like having ‘cookie dads’ around.”
