HBO Max reintroduces pay-per-call psychic reader Miss Cleo in a new documentary about her life, which willpremiere on December 15.

HBO Max is reintroducing a '90s psychic sensation in new documentary Call Me Miss Cleo. On Thursday (December 1), the platform unveiled a first trailer for the film, directed by Jennifer Brea and Celia Aniskovich.

Born Youree Dell Harris, the late psychic and tarot card reader was a spokesperson for pay-per-call service Psychic Readers Network. Through informercials, Harris built a cult following with her signature "Call me now" slogan from 1997 to 2003. The Psychic Readers Network was ultimately charged by the Federal Trade Commission with deceptive advertising, billing, and collection practices.

After leaving the Psychic Readers Network, Harris would continue her role in car dealership advertisements and commercials for French Toast Crunch cereal. Developing colorectal cancer, Harris died in 2016 at 53.

Appearing in the HBO Max documentary are celebrities like Raven-Symoné and Debra Wilson, who explore Harris' legacy and complicated life.

“Miss Cleo was such an iconic figure to fans and believers nationwide, but her story behind the camera remained an enigma,” HBO Max head of original content Sarah Aubrey said in a statement. “We are excited at the opportunity to help tell her true story in ‘Call Me Miss Cleo’ through the testimonials of those closest to the mysterious TV personality.”
