Drake also became the first artist to debut with the top three singles in the Hot 100.

On March 5, Drake dropped a three-track EP titled Scary Hours 2. The project features guest appearances from Lil Baby and Rick Ross. Today, he made history as all three tracks debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100, the first artist to debut with the top three spots simultaneously.

For the first time in Billboard's 60-year history, the top four songs on the Hot 100 are making their debuts. Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak (also known as Silk Sonic) "Leave the Door Open" entered the chart at number four. The four tracks dethroned Olivia Rodrigo's "Drivers License" after eight weeks at the top spot.

Paak took to Instagram to celebrate the accomplishment. "Leave the Door Open" was his first to make the Billboard Hot 100. His feature on the Eminem single "Lock It Up," previously peaked at number 89.

"To have a song like this debut in the Hot 100 is truly amazing," he wrote. "It can't happen without hard work and yalls support...let's keep rising! We love you for this!"

Drake joins Ariana Grande and The Beatles to hold the top three spots simultaneously. Grande achieved it with "7 Rings," "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" and "Thank U, Next on the week of February 23, 2019. 55 years prior, The Beatles did it for five weeks in a row, with "Can't Buy Me Love," "Twist and Shout," and "Do You Want to Know A Secret" up until April 4, 1964. On that date, the group held each of the top five spots.

"What's Next" is Drake's eighth number-one track, following 2020's "Toosie Slide," 2018's "In My Feelings," "Nice For What," and "God's Plan." This week makes his 51st week atop the Hot 100, the most among solo male artists. He only trails Mariah Carey, Rihanna, and The Beatles.

Lil Baby's appearance on "Wants and Needs" earns him his sixth top-ten Hot 100 appearance. Rick Ross' feature on "Lemon Pepper Freestyle" is his second top-ten appearance and his highest placement since "Money in the Grave."

Drake's Scary Hours 2 and Silk Sonic's "Leave the Door Open" are both currently available on all digital streaming platforms.
