President Donald Trump's reelection campaign is underway, and this time around, he's targeting Black voters. On Wednesday, the administration's Twitter support account @TeamTrump revealed the president's plans.

As part of the 'Black Voices For Trump' initiative, the administration is opening community centers across the country. Supporters will be able to purchase hats, t-shirts, and sweaters emblazoned with "Woke" and "Black Voices For Trump." Additionally, the administration will host celebrity meet-and-greets at the centers.

The initiative is targeting at least six cities with substantial Black populations: Atlanta, Charlotte, Detroit, Milwaukee, Miami, and Philadelphia. On Wednesday, Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner spoke with reporters in Virginia regarding the initiative.

"Last time it was 'What the hell do you have to lose?" said Kushner. "Now we're going to show them what they've gained from President Trump and what more they could gain if they get four more years."

In the 2016 election, Trump earned just 8 percent of the Black vote. At a rally in Michigan, he notoriously claimed he could gain 95 percent by the end of his first term. According to a Public Religion Institute study, however, 77 percent of Black Americans hold "mostly or very unfavorable" views of the president.

Earlier this month, Trump's Super Bowl ad featured Alice Johnson,  a formerly-incarcerated Black woman who Trump granted clemency to in June 2018. Kim Kardashian reportedly persuaded the decision. Johnson served 22 years in an Alabama prison for a drug-related charge despite being a nonviolent first-offender.
