Diddy Has Reportedly Reached Out to Black Rob After GoFundMe is Launched

Former Bad Boy signee Mark Curry clears the air regarding Diddy assisting Black Rob.

Over the weekend, former Bad Boy signee Black Rob drew the concerns of hundreds of fans on social media after posting a video from a hospital bed. In the video, Rob reveals that he's been struggling on dialysis since suffering a series of strokes and is essentially homeless. Many fans called for Diddy to offer assistance. On Wednesday, former Bad Boy signee Mark Curry alerted fans that he'd already been reaching out.

"Puffy, we need your help and you are reaching out," Curry said in the video. "You're trying to help. We're not trying to say he's not. He's really trying to help."

On Sunday, Curry and Mike Zombie created a GoFundMe campaign for Rob. At the time of publication, the campaign had raised over $23,000 of its $50,000 goal.

Curry thanked fans for their support. "Also know that it's not a sympathy case or nothing like that," he continued. "He just needs that support, that love, that aid to get through these hard times, cause you can imagine what it's like going through dialysis and stuff and have to worry about where you're going to put your head."

Black Rob was discharged from the hospital shortly after posting the video.

"I've been dealing with this for five years," he said in another video. "Four strokes...I don't know what to tell you man. This s--t is hard. I don't got no house to live in — except maybe an apartment. Me and my man be trying to get together. I’m telling you man, this shit is strange. It’s hard, you know what I’m saying? I don’t know what the people want to do, what the people going to say. I need some rest, man. Really, man. I need some rest."
