Titled Dave Chappelle Live on Broadway, the weeklong run of stand-up performances will take place at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre from Tuesday, July 9, through Saturday, July 13, according to Deadline. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 21, at 10 a.m. EST via Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster Verified Fan presales begin June 18. A schedule for the dates is listed below.

Recently, a lawsuit against Chappelle involving an incident where someone threw a banana peel at him while he was performing in Santa Fe, New Mexico, was dismissed.

In a report from the Albuquerque Journal, the suit, which was filed by Christian Englander in 2018, was dismissed by State District Court Judge Francis Mathew on April 24 because there had been "no significant activity in the case" for 180 days.

In October, the comedian will be honored by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as the 22nd recipient of the 2019 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Chappelle joins a handful of comedians who have also received the honor including Eddie Murphy, Whoopi Goldberg, and Richard Pryor. Pryor was the first recipient of the award, receiving the price back in 1998.
