Just two weeks after announcing his first stand-up tour in five years, Chris Rock has announced another comedy circuit tour for 2022. Partnered with Kevin Hart, Rock will co-headline the Only Headliners Allowed tour, a five-day stint in July. The two comics will perform at venues across New York and New Jersey, beginning at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh on July 21, and conclude with a show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on July 25.
“Chris has forever been a mentor of mine and more importantly a brother and a friend to me in this comedy game,” Hart captioned on Instagram post announcing the tour.
“I can’t wait to make history with him and destroy these markets!!!!!! Buckle up bitcheeeeesssss…..it’s about to go down!” Rock added in a separate Instagram post, “More dates to come.”
On April 2nd, Rock will begin his the North American leg of his 38-date Ego Death Tour 2022. The tour also marks Rock’s first stand-up stint since his Total Blackout Tour in 2017 and 2018, his first tour in nearly a decade. To launch the run, Rock will host two shows at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City and has teased that he’ll perform “all new material” that he’s described as “very personal and very funny.” The tour will wrap on November 17th in Los Angeles at the Dolby Theatre.
In February, Hart also announced his separate Reality Check Tour which will begin in July, running through 30 dates until October.
Tickets for the Only Headliners Allowed tour go on sale to the public on Friday, March 11 at 10 AM ET. Live Nation presales will begin the day before.
