It's been a helluva run

Earlier this week, Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer signaled the closing stretch of their Broad City tenure. The show has reportedly finished filming for its fifth and final season.

And while there's no official trailer for swan song, a supercut of the Comedy Central duo running amuck in NYC has been released to announce the premiere date of the closer. The show is slated to return on Thursday, January 24th, 2019, presumably at its original 10pm slot.

In non-serialized television news, both Jacobson and Glazer are keeping busy off-screen. The former is heading on tour in support of her upcoming book, I Might Regret This: Essays, Drawings, Vulnerabilities, and Other Stuff (in stores on October 30th,) the latter is hosting a four-day live event series in the run-up to midterm elections, where she'll interview progressive activists and politicians at Brooklyn's Murmrr Theater.
