The Baton Rouge MC took to Instagram to clear up a viral Internet rumor.

It's been a hectic couple of weeks for Boosie Badazz. After last week's controversial decision to wear a Kappa Alpha Psi sweatshirt to an Atlanta Hawks game, online rumors began to swirl. According to widely-shared viral social media posts, the Louisiana rapper had an altercation with George Zimmerman in a Florida Wal-Mart.

On Tuesday, Boosie took to Instagram to clear the air. As per usual, he was his candid self.

"Service announcement from Boosie. I never seen George in my life, [except] on TV," he said. "This is a lie. Leave me alone. I never seen George Zimmerman in my life. George don't know me. Talking 'bout I did something to him in Walmart. That is a lie."

The false reports claim that Boosie was in Florida for a radio interview at the time, where he encountered Zimmerman at a local Wal-Mart. They allege Boosie spotted Zimmerman, saying "Hey, you that fat a*s n*gga who killed Trayvon right?" The story continues to say Boosie knocked Zimmerman "out cold." According to the fake report, Zimmerman was taken to the hospital after suffering a seizure, and Boosie suffered a busted lip and nose.

Boosie continued by pivoting from a press release into a sales pitch. His signature Louisiana Heat flavor of ramen noodles--created by Master P--will hit Wal-Mart shelves on Friday. The noodle line is the successor to P's famous Rap Snacks line.
