Democratic presidential nominee Bernie Sanders made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, November 26. During his time, he sat down with Jimmy Fallon for an extended interview, where he talked about his campaign and getting a recent endorsement from Ariana Grande. He also showed off his basketball skills, by shooting some free throws.
But the highlight came when Bernie participated in the popular segment Slow Jam the News. For the performance, which you can see at the top of he page, he was backed by Fallon and Black Thought of The Roots.
During the segment Bernie said:
We need to enact Medicare for All. We need to tackle the dangerous threat of climate change and we need to get big money out of politics. I don’t have a super PAC. Instead, I have a grassroots campaign with more individual contributions than any candidate in American history.
