The billboard was made by Philly Made Creative.

André 3000 has been seen throughout Philadelphia playing the flute (and now we all know it's likely because he has joined the cast of AMC's Dispatches from Elsewhere series) and taking pictures with fans who are lucky enough to come across him.

In honor of his flute-playing escapades throughout the city, a Philadelphia creative agency has designed a billboard dedicated to the Atlanta artist.

In a report from the Philly Voice, Philly Made Creative, a creative marketing agency, designed a billboard that reads "Philly welcomes an ATLien, a reference to Outkast's second album, ATLiens.

"We're running this campaign to highlight the beauty and organic nature of creative collaboration in Philadelphia," Matt Berman, who founded Philly Made Creative alongside his wife Kristen, said.

"The street is a form of theater here like it is in many cities. André 3000 playing his flute for Philadelphians (at first anonymously) is evidence of that for sure. It's as if one Outkast recognized a city full of people like himself," Berman added.

Berman partnered with billboard vendor Kegerreis to get the design up, which is now on a billboard on I-95 South toward Wilmington.

Recently, it was revealed that 3000 had joined the cast of Dispatches from Elsewhere, a 10-episode series on AMC that recently started production in Philadelphia.

The series is created by actor Jason Segel, who also stars in it. Segel will direct the first hour-long episode while Alethea Jones, who is executive producing the series, is slated to lead several other episodes. It is expected to premiere on AMC next year.

3000 has been seen throughout Philly playing the flute which, according to Remezcla, is a Mayan double flute made by Guillermo Martinez. Martinez is the owner of a shop called Quetzalcoatl Music in Southern California.
