After releasing diss track "Oracle 2: The Liberation of Mason Betha", Mase went to Instagram, revealing more about his issues with Diddy.

Mase is doubling down on his recent Diddy callout. On Friday, the rapper went to Instagram Live to talk at length about his recent diss track "Oracle 2: The Liberation of Mason Betha", where he notably alleged that Diddy is exploiting the legacy of The Notorious B.I.G. Mase, born Mason Betha, was signed to Bad Boy Records by Diddy more than two decades ago.

“When I see the hurt and the pains of other people on Bad Boy, that motivates me to say something, so I don’t be deemed as a person who just made a bunch of money and turned a blind eye,” he said via Instagram Live. “I’m not going to be like the rest of the people around Puff that don’t tell him he’s wrong. I’m not gonna be like the ‘yes’ men around him that see him ruining people lives and never tell him he’s wrong. More people on here will tell me I’m wrong, but won’t say anything to him. They’ll judge my beliefs, they’ll judge my Christianity, and they’ll say nothing to Puff. They’ll say nothing about it’s a concert for Biggie, and Biggie own daughter couldn’t get in. They don’t say nothing about that. But all of his friends got 50 and 60 tickets. We’re done with your games.”

Even after joining Diddy for their Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour in 2016, in a now-deleted Instagram post from 2020, Betha accused Diddy of rejecting his $2 million offer to purchase his music publishing.

“Your past business practices knowingly has continued purposely starved your artist and been extremely unfair to the very same artist that helped u obtain that Icon Award on the iconic Bad Boy label,” Betha wrote. “For example, u still got my publishing from 24 years ago in which u gave me $20k. Which makes me never want to work w/ u as any artist wouldn’t.”

Financial disputes aside, it looks like Mase will be seeing some coins in the near future. On Monday, streetwear line Kith announced that the rapper is the face of their New York to the World capsule.

Mase isn't the first to recently press Diddy through social media. Making the Band alum Willie Taylor, Babs Bunny and Freddy P have also aired out their grievances with their former boss. Earlier this month, Freddy P targeting Diddy in emotionally-charged posts on Instagram, even sharing that he "contemplated suicide", according to Complex.

While Diddy hasn't named anyone, he wrote a scathing Instagram Story in response to Making the Band criticism: “STOP ALL YOUR CRYING, BITCHING & MOANING. HUSTLE HARDER OR GET THE FUCK OUT OF OUR WAY. – LOVE.”
