Washed Out Returns with an Irresistible House Cut via Stones Throw

Don't call it a comeback. No, seriously don't do that. It's been four long years since Ernest Greene, better known as Washed Out(or even to some as "the guy who made the Portlandia theme") released any new music. His 2013 album Paracosm feels like a distant transmission at this point. Today, he returns from sabbatical with a whole new groove, channeling his inner-house-maven on the single "Get Lost." The track was released via Stones Throw, though a rep from the label was unable to disclose whether there was a full project to look forward to. But even without the promise of more to come, these warmer days of spring are the perfect time to dip into Washed Out's latest offering, touched with squealing horns, a driving beat and all of the westward yearning. Hear it down below in the latest installment of The Round-Upalong with the track's visual accompaniment and his full slate of upcoming tour dates. Pick up your copy on iTunes today.
