Stream The Weeknd’s New Six-Song Release ‘My Dear Melancholy’
The Weeknd backs up his earlier promise to release new music by dropping My Dear Melancholy, a six-song project on Apple Music and Spotify.
As promised The Weeknd has unleashed his new album upon the world. My Dear Melancholy is a surprise six-song release that is now available on Apple Music and Spotify.
In addition to the new music, Abel has also included not one, but two spanking fresh videos in the form of “Call Out My Name” and “Try Me”. The latter was shot while the XO crooner was on his cell phone out in Los Angeles.
Those two visuals are only available to be viewed by Spotify users in the U.S., UK, Sweden and Latin America. If you don’t use the links to see them here and here, you can also head to the Are & Be playlist, which has more than four million followers, and view it there.
It’s been a few years since 2016’s Starboy, and even though the Black Panther: The Album cut “Pray For Me” is a welcomed sight from the Toronto singer-songwriter, it doesn’t count as a solo release from The Weeknd. With the record for being Spotify’s third most-streamed artist last year and a Grammy-nominated candidate at that, My Dear Melancholy should have some grooves that throwback to House of Balloons.
