Stream The New Project By Roy Woods: 'Waking at Dawn'

OVO Sound signee the 20 year-old Roy Woods, hailing from Brampton, Ontario just dropped a new project entitled Waking at Dawn. The project continues on the infectious sound trajectory of airy synths, cinematic pads and trap drums with Woods showcasing his vocal range and catchy choruses. There are even some island vibe joints on the project. OVO Sound was started by Drake (who is embroiled in some Grade A beef with Joe Budden) and longtime collaborator and producer Noah "40" Shebib. The young Woods says Michael Jackson is a musical inspiration. The inspiration can be heard through the cadences he employs throughout the project.

Stream the project via Apple Music here and catch the young Roy Woods, stylized as Roy Wood$ on tour with Drake, Future, and crew at the Summer Sixteen mega tour. Scroll down for dates and locations.
