PJ Morton Brings the Soul & Holiday Spirit with New Album “Christmas with PJ Morton”

Christmas came early.

PJ Morton just gifted the world ahead of the holidays with his new album, Christmas with PJ Morton.

The project features gospel singer Yolanda Adams, Mint Condition’s Stokley, and New Orleans bounce artist Hasizzle.

“I really wanted to make a modern Christmas classic like the albums that I’ve always loved,” Morton tweeted Friday, adding. “Wanted to be respectful to the classics but original enough to make it exciting to listen to.”

Earlier this month, Morton and Stokley released the video for their cover of Mariah Carey’s Christmas classic, “All I Want For Christmas is You.”

Morton is in the midst of his More Gumbo North American tour with special guest Grace Weber.
