As N.E.R.D. positions themselves for world domination/liberation, “Lemon,” the group’s first non-Spongebob single in seven years, is burning up floors and busting car speakers across the land.

And while there’s still no firm date on their new album (presumably-titled No_One Ever Really Dies) there’s a new take on the booming comeback single from Mr. Carmack and Vindata. They join fellow Soulection star, Sango (who shared a remix of GoldLink’s “Crew” just this weekend) in dropping recalibrations of heat-seeking 2017 hits today, Carmack and Vindata prop up “Lemon” with floor-shaking low-end, dialing back the pace just enough to embolden the already endless swagger of Rihanna’s verse.
