Along with the announcement, Meth has released a new song, which is titled "Grand Prix." Damon Blackman (better known as Dame Grease) produced the song. It can be listened to above.

Several months ago, Meth spoke on Atlanta's rise in hip-hop and referred to it as "the new New York."

"Down South is way bigger than just New York, and we were basing everything off just New York," The rapper said. "I remember Andre 3000 at the Source Awards, they got booed and he said, 'All I know is that the South got something to say.' I think that was like a calling to all artists down South to say, 'You know what? We don't need those muthaf**kas up there. They're arrogant as fuck, and there's more of us down here.'"

Meth is also preparing for a set of special Wu-Tang Clan shows happening in Australia. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), the group will headline Australia’s Sydney Opera House on December 8 and 9.
