Drake & Lil Durk's "Laugh Now Cry Later" Video is Basically A Nike Commercial

Drake season is basically every season at this point.

Drake has released a new video and single called "Laugh Now Cry Later." The song, which features Lil Durk, will appear on Drake's upcoming album, Certified Lover Boy, which doesn't have a release date but we imagine is coming this year. If so, it will be the second Drake project to drop this year. (He released Dark Lane Demo Tapes back in May.)

The video for "Laugh Now Cry Later" features Drake and Lil Durk having some fun at Nike World Headquarters in Oregon. We're going to be frank here — the video, which was directed by Dave Meyers, is a Nike commercial. There are checks and orange and brown boxes in almost every shot and appearances from Nike-approved athletes like Kevin Durant, Odell Beckham Jr., and Marshawn Lynch.

As for the song, it was produced by Rogét Chahayed, Yung Exclusive, Cardo & G. Ry and it features Drake and Durk in a conflicted state, trying to manage the stress that comes with so much fame and success. (At one point Drake flat out says "And I never been embraced," which does not seem to be accurate by any metric.)

On the track, the two rappers also find time to send some shots at their rivals. Drake raps:

"Tired of beefin' you bums, you can't even pay me enough to react

Been wakin' up in the crib and sometimes I don't even know where I'm at

Please don't play that nigga songs in this party, I can't even listen to that

It's not overt, but it seems like a dig at Kanye West and Pusha-T."

While Lil Durk sends a much clearer shot at 6ix9ine, who he's had tension with, rapping:

"I'm in the trenches, relax

Can you not play that lil' boy in the club? 'Cause we do not listen to rats"
