DOOM and Czarface have joined forces for a full-length album dropping this year.
READ: Bishop Nehru Reveals Release Date For New Album Produced By Kaytranada And DOOM
Titled Czarface Meets Metal Face, the new album will include 14 tracks and feature appearances from Open Mike Eagle and Jedi Mind Tricks’ Vinnie Paz. This serves as the first collaborative album between the two (DOOM and Czarface previously collaborated on “Ka-Bang!” from 2015’s Every Hero Needs a Villain).
Along with the album announcement has come a new track titled “Nautical Depth.” Czarface, which is made up of the Wu-Tang Clan‘s Inspectah Deck and 7L & Esoteric, released an album last year titled First Weapon Drawn.
DOOM will also produce Bishop Nehru‘s new album Elevators: Act I & II this year alongside Kaytranada. Nehru recently released a trailer for the project and revealed its release date. The minute-long video shows a claymation setting featuring clay versions of Nehru and Kaytranada, while a gold DOOM mask operates one elevator that Nehru eventually finds himself in.
Czarface Meets Metal Face drops March 30. The album is available for preorder from getondown.com, with the website also offering a bundle set, as well as cassette and vinyl version of the project.
