About Herbie Hancock

Herbie Hancock is, without a doubt, one of the biggest names in jazz music history. Mentored by the one and only Miles Davis, Hancock has established himself for both his keyboard skills and unique approach to electronic instruments. Since 1962, he has released over 40 studio albums and has developed a reputation for his fearless experimentation with different sub-genres of jazz and unconventional sounds. Many of his compositions including “Maiden Voyage”, “Watermelon Man”, “Cantaloupe Island”, and Chameleon” have gone on to become jazz standards.
