Being called their "final" music video, "The Space Program" features Q-Tip as an astronaut as he floats through zero-gravity and plays chess with a faceless white politician. Aboard a ship with Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Jarobi White, and Phife Dawg (in the form of a glowing green orb), Q-Tip leads the group as space. Contrasting the futuristic imagery are scenes of riots and white supremacist slogans being displayed on mini televisions.

Toward the end, the ship's oxygen reserve reaches zero percent and the message "I CAN'T BREATHE" flashes. The members of the rap group then wake up on a distant planet.

The music video also features a number of guest cameos including Erykah Badu, Vince Staples, Pharrell, and Common, Questlove, Ta-Nehisi Coates, Rosario Dawson, Janelle Monáe, Alicia Keys, Anderson .Paak, and others. The eight-minute video was directed by Warren Fu. You can watch it on Apple Music here.

Prior to "The Space Program," A Tribe Called Quest released a music video for "We The People" and "Dis Generation." Several weeks ago the group teased a "major announcement" on Instagram, with fans speculating that a tour or Phife's posthumous album Give Thanks was on the way. But it ended up being a capsule collection with Pharrell's Billionaire Boys Club clothing line.
