Alicia Keys
Sidney Royel Selby III, you may know him as Desiigner, took the world and the charts and frankly many speakers by storm with the release of the song "Panda," sending many a youth into fits of stuttering and mumbling what seem to be the emulation of gun shot sounds. Then a few months back Desiigner, being named a part of XXL's Freshman Class of 2016, half sung half rapped a new track with no beat, just his vocals called "Timmy Turner." Watch it here. Thought to be a one hit wonder by many, some began to see Desiigner move past "Panda." The song eventually got an apocalyptic sounding beat and mixed and mastered and released. And now Alicia Keys, the prolific singer, pianist, songwriter, record producer, and actress has done a cover of the track taking it back to the songs stripped down roots with just a piano and Keys singing not "Timmy, Timmy, Timmy Turner," but instead "Tina, Tina, Tina Turner."
