Folarin like nas is like freestyle
Yesterday Wale dropped the track “Folarin Like (Nas Is Like Freestyle).” The song featured Wale spitting some inspired bars over the classic instrumental "Nas Is Like," which was the first single off Nas' 1999 album I Am…. The track was produced by DJ Premier. And now, in rapid fire succession, the D.M.V. rapper has dropped the visuals to “Folarin Like (Nas Is Like Freestyle).” The video isn't too crazy, just some rapping as he walks up a street in the rain. The visuals were filmed by Chop Mosley and Big Vic. Wale’s last studio album was 2015’s The Album About Nothing. His upcoming studio album is tentatively titled Shine though a definitive release date has yet to be revealed. Back in June of 2016 Wale dropped the mixtape Summer On Sunset. The project had features from Cam’Ron, Phil Ade, Jazz Cartier,Tha Dogg Pound, Esta, Jake One, Raheem DeVaughn, Ty Dolla $ign, Eric Bellinger and DJ Mustard. A few days back Wale released the track “Groundhog Day” in response to J. Cole‘s song “False Prophets.” Listen to it here.
