Dirty Projectors Perform "Cool Your Heart" with The Roots, D∆WN and Tyondai Braxton on 'The Tonight Show'

Dirty Projectors returned to the world as a one-man band on the new self-titled album. And though Dave Longstreth is now the lone member of the group, he’s assembled quite the supporting roster to bring his vision to life. Last night on The Tonight Show, Longstreth was joined by D∆WN, Tyondai Braxton and selected members of The Roots (Questlove, Mark Kelly and The Dap Kings horn section) to perform the album standout “Cool Your Heart,” a song co-written by Solange (whose A Seat at The Table features contributions from the Dirty Projectors lead.) You can watch that below.

D∆WN has a grip of summer tour dates ahead (listed below the player) and just released an interactive 3D video for her songs “Lazarus” and “Love Under Lights.” Pick up a copy of her latest album, Redemption, on iTunes today. Dirty Projectors’ self-titled album is out now and available in a gorgeous etched marble vinyl package via Domino.
