Donald Glover Helped Chance The Rapper Write a Sketch for His 'SNL' Hosting Debut

Chano's historic hosting debut could feature his first collaboration with Donald Glover since 2013's "The Worst Guys"

Ahead of his appearance as the first unsigned artist to host Saturday Night Live this weekend, Chance The Rapper dropped by The Tonight Show to discuss the hosting debut and his various ongoing education initiatives in Chicago.

Chatting with Jimmy Fallon, Chano reveals that he wrote five sketches for this weekend's episode, three of which are likely to air, including one that was co-written by Donald Glover (who has yet to host to the best of my knowledge.) It probably doesn't count towards the long-awaited Chano x Childish Gambino collaborative project, but it's a start for "The Worst Guys." Chance goes onto discuss how at the time of that discussion, he'd yet to meet Eminem, the evening's musical guest, but that appears to have been rectified, as a promo clip for this weekend's episode has arrived with both Chance and Em, and the incomparable Leslie Jones.
