Apparently god made them both some smokey-ass individuals judging from the skulls, tie-dye, ultraviolet night skies and other weedhead memes lighting up this video. Cud even has his B-Real hat on–they should have just let the spacey beat ride out for another 10 seconds and change to make it officially 4:20. But it works, though! Heard around the OKP office: “Sounds like his Man On The Moon Days. First Cudi track I’ve liked since then.”

I’ve been waiting on this one for a minute. Today Cleveland emcee Chip Tha Ripper eases my 49ers induced depression (*sigh*) with the release of his new mixtape, Tell Ya Friends. Features on the tape include Cyhi Da Prynce, Malik Yousef, Wale, Bun B, Krayzie Bone, Ray Cash, Kid Cudi, and more. The leaks I heard were on point, and Chip’s last effort was very strong. Cleveland emcee Chip Tha Ripper just gets better and better as I see it. His Gift Raps project with Chuck Inglish had more than a few bangers on it (check that). Today, Chip continues that trend of good ish with this new Blended Babies produced song “Me Too” featuring Like (from Pac Div) and vocals from Coco (from Quadron). Like other recent jams from The Cool Kids, “Roll Call” makes strategic use of some cameos but for a variety of reasons–the spare beat, the pass the mic format, the fact that these guests are a little more in TCK’s own lane–this one is a much stronger vehicle for Sir Mike and Chuck Inglish their own selves.
