The roots has and will always be my fav hip hop band. I cant wait to see their show in Detroit Oct 25th. Something happens to me when I hear their music. I met Black Thought in Chicago over the weekend and he was so cool, so down to earth, I love em even more now.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Roots and Questlove is absolutely my hero but I gotta say I dont like how much faster they play all their songs live. Sometimes they play cuts like twice as fast! and it sounds really busy throughout Rising Up...again I love these guys they are my fav but they didnt used to play like this live.
