The Philadelphia Eagles Win The 2018 Super Bowl
There you have it, folks. After having won last year’s championship The New England Patriots have lost to the Philadelphia Eagles this year. The final score was 41-33. This marks the first time that the Eagles have ever won a Super Bowl.
What contributed to the Patriots’ downfall was a fumble that happened with two minutes left in the fourth quarter, marking the first turn over for the team. Inevitably, social media capitalized on the moment, turning a picture of a distraught Tom Brady sitting on the field into a meme.

A part of this year’s Super Bowl was a halftime performance from Justin Timberlake, which also included a tribute to Prince.
“Minneapolis, this one’s for you,” Timberlake said as he went into a cover of Prince’s “I Would Die 4 U.” As Timberlake played the song on a piano, a large sheet with videos of Prince performing were shown, with the entire U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis bathed in purple in honor of the late artist.
