A lot of the bass-lines and synthesizer playing seem very reminiscent of P-Funk to me. It wouldn't be mistaken for actual P-Funk or even G-Funk, but there's a distinct funk undercurrent to a lot of the tracks due to the elements used. I think it's appropriately titled.
