Hopefully his skill progress on the next album. Expected better on the lyrics, but he's young and still a little innocent. Next album, go for broke tho. - Detroit

Yeah, the keyboard was probably a Microkorg i know both Dilla & Madlib were crazy about that little synth.
Ive read a interview from Madlib saying he had vintage synths including Moogs but the Microkorg being his favorite.

Dilla's Synths:

Microkorg
Minimoog Voyager
E-Mu MK-6

You can see Dilla's keyboards in that Youtube video with Frank N Dank, Common and some friends in Dilla's studio.

Search: "Inside Dilla's Studio" on Youtube. - Dust

Love u illa j, extra pounds for doing this album in your direction, I always was thinking what about the tracks dilla had in the vaults, what about the pharcyde throwback or vaulted beats, delicious vinyl era? beats, rhymes, and life era beats???Im so glad u grabbed these beats...even tho I sure there are plenty more from old to new...If u do more songs on the rest of jay dees beats, keep it right, soulful...Lovin em, the album is dope, help in gettin the pay jay album out to...you know, the MCA JAydee Project album we havent heard yet...Anyway big ups dude, lovin your soulful vibe on this lp, look forward to hearin more in the future...it would be great hearin your band and more of jay's beats on the next go round as well...Peace... - Dee Dizzle From Tha La Fizzle

"He sent me this bass keyboard that had a lot of crazy sounds. Him and Madlib had one and so he ordered another one for me."

I've been tryna figure out which board(s) dude was using, and just when I thought his brother was about to say it....nothing. DAG! - DigablePlanet
