Okayplayer is pleased to present the second annual Okay Photographer showcase. Each month, it seems we find another gifted photgrapher in our OkayFamily. But, the F-stop's here. Every weekday in the month of August, we will showcase the work our contributors have shared. The amount of talent we continue to stumble upon since Okay Photographer's inception, has been overwhelming and some kind of amazing. Special thanks to everyone who sent in photos, reached out with inquiries and continue to support Okayplayer. I'm ready for my close-up.

My father shot BCI crime photos and took me into the darkroom at the police station on Sundays to learn when I was in 6th grade. New Urban Arts youth center helped me keep photography alive during high school. Now through Americorps VISTA I am with the The Carriage House Stage & School, where taking photos is a large part of my work.
