Earlier this week, Zumbi (1/2 of Zion I) dropped a new mixtape, Zumbi Versus. The tape features the Bay Area emcee collaborating with (or sampling) The Jacka, Martian Luther, Flying Lotus, Little Dragon, The Grouch, Bassnectar, and more. Zumbi explains the idea behind the project: “I wanted to take the ultra creative landscape of hip hop and crush it down into a microcosm of what I’m feeling.
