Yancey Boys & Slum Village Link For A Heated Loosie On "Global Warming" (prod. by Young RJ)

Yancey Boys and Slum Village link for a proper reunion of Dilla disciples on the thumping one-off "Global Warming." Though Jay Dee's touch didn't grace the record, Young RJ comes through with a righteously sinister production that swings with the great, throwing big, lush string arrangements over some minor chord madness guitar chops lurking under a filtered drum treatment, guaranteed to make heads knock. The collaboration serves as a loose announcement of Detroit and LA Donut camp  joining forces on an upcoming tour, the dates of which have yet to be announced.

They each have some pretty crucial releases out there for you to bop to, YB with the wholly Jay Dee-produced Sunset Blvd and SV with the VINTAGE EP, which also features some production from the GOAT. You can cop Sunset Blvd via iTunes today, while VINTAGE is available strictly for the crate diggers on 12-inch wax over at UGHH's store. Be sure to check back for the dates in the coming days, but in the meantime, get your sugary fix of Donut-esque goodness and stream the Yancey Boys and Slum Village's collaborative loose joint "Global Warming" below.
