Wu-Tang Clan Added To Rock The Bells NJ Line-Up!

The final stop for the 2012 Rock The Bells festival is this weekend, September 1st and 2nd at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ and event organizers Guerilla Union and Boost Mobile have just announced that the almighty Wu-Tang Clan has just been added to the line up for the RTB 2012 finale!

“We’ve brought in artists exclusively to both the San Bernardino and Mountain View shows, so we wanted to do something exceptional for New Jersey," says Chang Weisberg, Guerilla Union founder. "What better way to end the festival with a bang than having one of music’s greatest contributors, Wu-Tang Clan, as special guests?”

We couldn't agree more!  The Wu will make an appearance during the Wu-Block set on Saturday evening, and they join an already impressive line-up of performers for the New Jersey stop that includes Nas, J Cole, Common, DMX, Eve, Jadakiss, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Dipset, Slick Rick, DJ Quik, The Hit Squad reunion, Slaughterhouse, Immortal Technique, Ice Cube, Murs & Fashawn, Big Daddy Kane, Salt-N-Pepa.... should we continue?

This year's stop in Jersey is extremely important for the future of the festival on the east coast. “While the shows the past two weekends on the west coast were incredible (both sold out), Rock the Bells in New Jersey is really struggling," Weisberg added.  "Last year, we had to cancel our show in Boston; this year, we had to leave our annual home at Governor's Island in NYC; and for whatever reason, this show in New Jersey is not selling... I know that this Labor Day weekend will go down in the books as one of the best shows we've ever produced, and I know that we are going to make music history yet again. But we hope that enough fans will rally to support the cause as well so we can continue to bring Rock the Bells to the east coast.”
