Over the years, few artists have mastered the uncanny ability to drop an album, then drop off the face off the earth as well as one Willis Earl Beal. The modern-day bluesman's last sign of life came with the release of his Noctunes LP back in August of 2015, after which he promptly vanished into whatever whiskey-stocked cavern he typically retreats to. Today, he returns with a full stream of the new album, Through The Dark, which was created with musician, Nathan Gibson, and just proves that Beal records with whomever he pleases, whenever he pleases. And though that might make him a tad more difficult to keep track of, the results are always on point.
