The political drama House of Cards feels more relevant now than ever, and a creepy new trailer for the Netflix series captures the sentiment.
Hours after Donald Trump's Fridayinauguration as president of the United States, and after the start of a weekend of protests around the country, the trailer hit the Net. It shows the U.S. flag flying upside down, in front of The White House and beneath a stormy backdrop. A group of children can be heard saying the Pledge of Allegiance in the background,adding to the ominous tone of the trailer.
Season 5 of House of Cards is scheduled to be released on Netflix on May 30, 2017. Watch the new trailer below.
